Q. What operating systems support Dstar Comms?

A. Currently, the latest windows versions Windows XP and Windows Vista are supported. There are however, users using DStar Comms on Windows 2000.

Q. I have setup a HOST for the Network node but nobody can connect to me?

A. If your pc running Dstar Comms is connected to a gateway/firewall then you will need to port forward the chosen port to your pc. This is to allow the incoming connection request to be forwarded to your pc.

There are too many available routers for us to cover the exact configuration for your router but you can get more information on port forwarding here: http://portforward.com/help/portforwarding.htm
