A basic form of Call Sign Authentication is now available. This is to control who can access your TCP Network Node by Call Sign.

1) Heard List
Improvments have been made with both filtering of non call sign data and the ease of use.
There is now a session heard list on the main screen that co-exists with the data base heard list. Call Signs in the heard list are now clickable to open a direct PM box (no need to open the PM box and then type the persons call sign).
Extra filtering/checking has been applied as it has been noticed that more than callsigns were being recorded in the heard list.
2) GPS Tracker
It was reported that some international users with a different locale setting on their pc were having an issue with plotting users onto google maps. This was down to the locale setting on the pc messing with the decimal place for co-ordinate calculations.
There is now a tick box "International Settings" on the GPS Tracker page to allow correct calculation before clicking on google maps or a callsign in the tracker database.

Version 1.1.1 Released!
New features include:
1) Network Node
Dstar Comms can now act as a Multi-threaded TCP Server or TCP Client. While in HOST mode you can accept TCP connections from clients. Each clients pressence is made known in a users list. All connected clients will receive any chat data that the host receives and any chat data each client receives will be broadcasted to the server.
There is also an option to allow received text chat to be rebroadcasted via your connected radio. You do not have to have a radio to use this facility, you can simply connect to a HOST and text chat via the HOST.
Each HOST also has the ability to upload its current IP Address, Port, Country, Callsign and comments to a central location here: www.dstarcomms.com/nodes.asp
This is a live page and will be updated everytime a HOST becomes active (assuming the checkbox is ticked within dstarcomms).
This feature is in its early stages and will be greatly enhanced as time goes on. Please feel free to let us know any requirements/enhancements for this feature.

The original forum is still up and running and can be found by clicking on the support tab.
Currently, Pro is the only available version to be downloaded and is currently masively discounted until the other two version are released so grab your copy while you can!
